How VedaCharts stays free

There is no paid tier and no locked chapter. Every account gets the whole site. Advertising and affiliate links cover the cost of running it, and this page says exactly how that works.

Where the money comes from

Three sources, all of them visible

Ads

Google AdSense units run on the learning pages and the chart workbench. They pay for hosting, the ephemeris license, and the chart calculation that runs on every birth chart.

Affiliate links

Some book recommendations link to a retailer. If you buy through one, VedaCharts earns a small commission at no extra cost to you. The recommendation comes first and the link second, never the other way around.

Readers

People who find the site useful and want to chip in. Voluntary, and it buys nothing that is not already free.
