The slow planet in the sign of starting
Saturn is the planet of time, limits and work. It asks what will last, and it is in no hurry. Aries is the first sign, ruled by Mars: the impulse to begin, to act first and think later. The two pull in opposite directions, and the tradition calls Saturn debilitated here, at its least comfortable.
That does not make the time bad. It makes it a test of patience in the one place patience comes hardest. Starts stall and restart. Energy has to be rationed. What gets built is the thing someone was willing to begin slowly.
