The craving to belong
Rahu is the Moon's north node, a shadow planet that stands for craving, novelty and the drive to have more. It moves backward through the zodiac with Ketu opposite. In Cancer, a cardinal water sign ruled by the Moon, the craving is for home, belonging and emotional safety. The Moon and Rahu are not friends in the tradition, so the longing is restless and hard to satisfy.
