Rahu is the Moon's north node, a shadow planet with no body of its own. It stands for craving, novelty, the foreign and the drive to have more. It moves backward through the zodiac, and Ketu, the south node, always sits in the opposite sign, letting go of what Rahu grasps. In Aries, a cardinal fire sign ruled by Mars, Rahu craves action, victory and the first move. Mars and Rahu are not friends in the tradition, so the appetite is raw.

With Ketu in Libra, partnership and balance are what the world is quietly releasing. The theme is boldness without a brake. Warriors and pioneers rise fast. The lesson is that a craving to win is not the same as knowing what for.
