Jupiter is the planet of growth, faith, teachers and good fortune. Capricorn is a cardinal earth sign ruled by Saturn: structure, the state, austerity and the long climb. The tradition calls Jupiter debilitated here, at its least comfortable, because expansion and restraint do not easily share a room.
