Ashlesha is the serpent's embrace. The Nagas of Vedic myth keep the deepest mysteries, the wisdom that does not surface easily, the kundalini at the base of the spine, the venom that is also the medicine. Ashlesha people are tuned to that depth from childhood.
They tend to read rooms before they speak, to know what someone is hiding before that person knows themselves, and to keep their own counsel longer than most people are comfortable with. The shadow is when this intuition turns to manipulation, or when secrecy becomes a habit that isolates them from the people who would actually accept what they're hiding.

Tendency to manipulate when threatened. Holds grudges. Difficulty trusting; difficulty being trusted in return when the secrecy reads as evasion. Self-soothes through control.
